We flew into
Frankfurt and arrived Friday around noon. Our hotel is downtown
near the main train station. We rested a bit. Then our long time
friends, Klaus and Rosa Nowitzky picked us up and took us to
their home in the suburbs of Frankfurt. Saturday morning we took
the train to Passau, about a four hours ride. We arrived in the
early afternoon and dropped off our luggage aboard the ship.
Then we walked around town. The highlight was visiting St.
Stephen's church which houses the world's largest organ. After
dinner our ship departed for our seven day voyage.
