Today, we crossed the Continental
Divide, so it is all down hill from here to Florida.
This occurred about 50 mile east of the Arizona - New Mexico boarder

For those of
you who are sure as to what the Continental Divide
represents, please read further.
The
Continental Divide is the mountain ride what separates the
east side from the west side of the Rocky Mountains. It runs
from Alaska down into Latin America. In places such as
Colorado, crossing the Continental Divide involves a steep
uphill climb as is found at the Eisenhower Tunnel just west
of Denver. Down here on Interstate-10 in the southern part
of New Mexico the uphill climb is extremely gentle.
In theory, a drop of water spilled east of the ridge will
end up in the Atlantic Ocean and a drop of water spilled on
the west side of the ridge will end up in the Pacific Ocean
