Cynthia and I brought our lunch. While sitting next to the fountain shown above, we had Pâté à la Compagne and a baguette of bread plus cornichon pickles, all while listening to classical music that plays throughout the palace grounds while the fountains are operating.

The English Hamlet just past the Petit Trianon. This was built by Maria-Antoinette so that she could return to the pleasures of simple, rural pursuits, away from the pomp of Versailles.
